Enjoy it while it lasts!
Summer greetings to everybody! Yes, also Finland is now feeling the heat. Almost. We are done rehearsing, everything should be ready for Edinburgh, except our clothes that are being made for us as we speak. It will be fairly exciting to try them on the day before opening at the Fringe... Just to keep up the excitement for everybody.

Hot and cold
Today is the last day of school for the kids in Finland and the summer vacation starts! Congratulations on that!
Summertime.
Here in Recklinghausen we have had four concerts and two more to go, the first days it was + 25 degrees C and inside the tent with all the lights on it was hot as in a Finnish sauna. Then suddenly yesterday it was freezing outside and no matter how much I jumped and did all kinds of weird moves before the show my toes were still freezing white. But thanks to the warmhearted audience the evening became hot and sweaty after all!

During the day we have been trying to use the time for rehearsals, we want to get some new material working before our little summer break so we can try them out in Edinburgh.
It should work, shouldn´t it?
On Friday we moved to another hotel again. This time we weren´t thrown out of the hotel, on the contrary. But we found by accident this really small nice hotel and already the first night here proved us right in trying it out.
When we came back from our gig the hotel owner Leonardo had some antipasti and red wine waiting for us. And later on of course grappa.
